I'm sure a lot of you traveled recently for the holidays, where you comfortable? Traveling by car, boat, plane, or train is difficult enough already, don't set yourself up for failure. To guarantee your comfort throughout your travels, dress in layers. That is seriously the best thing you can do for yourself! My ideal cold weather travel ensemble is as follows: a long sleeve dress, blanket-like cardigan, coat, scarf, leggings, knee-high socks, and boots.
Let's Break it Down:
Long Sleeve Dress - You could swap this out for a long sleeve tunic.
Blanket-like Cardigan - Any loose fitting cardigan would work.
Winter Coat
Scarf
Leggings - Or thick tights, like I'm wearing below.
Knee-high Socks - Or any socks that fit at or above your ankle. You don't want your socks sliding off the back of your foot while you're walking around, that is so annoying and uncomfortable.
Boots - Don't pack your boots, they take up too much space, wear them!

I'm wearing:
Necklace - Kay Jewelers
Glasses - Ray Ban
Cardigan - Marshall's
Coat - Calvin Klein (my feet are resting on it in the above pic)
Scarf - My Husband's
Dress - Express
Tights - Hue
Socks - Stance
Shoes - ShoeDazzle.
